Pokhara - Chitwan
Day 01
Arrival - Kathmandu
Arrival Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.
Start off the tour by visiting the 2000 year old
Swayambunath temple(Monkey temple). These
temple charms with its great dazzling stupa while
at the same time offers a marvelous view of
Kathmandu city next destination is Patan, the oldest and second largest of the three cities in
Kathmandu.
Day 02
Kathmandu - Rafting - Pokhara
Get off for our white-water rafting adventure
down the Trishuli River. The trip starts off at a
leisurely pace, giving you an ample time to
familiarize yourself on rafting techniques and
build up teamwork. Six rapids await you along
the river, building up in crescendo from butterfly to the big water of "pinball"
guaranteed to send thrills down your spine!
Ending at the village mugling and transfer to
Pokhara.
Day 03 Pokhara
Visit various parts of the lakeside village, and
enjoy one of the most beautiful panoramas in
the world made-up by the Annapurna Himal,
the majestic Machhapuchhare and other
surrounding snow-capped peaks. Afternoon visit
Davis falls. Followed by Tibetan refugees camp
where barter trading is still being practiced.
Day 04 - 09 Trekking
Potana 5,800ft, Landrung 5,400 ft, Gandrung
6,400 ft, Tadapani 9,000 ft, Ghorapani 9,300
ft, Birethani 3,400 ft, Naudanda 4,675 ft.
Day 10 Naudanda - Sarangkot -
Chitwan National Park Trek passes the beautiful Village of Sarangkot
today as we make our way back to Pokhara.
Continue drive to Chitwan National Park. Upon
arrival check-in and briefing will be given by
the ranger of our programme.
Day 11
Chitwan National Park
The Royal Chitwan National park(960 Sq. Km),
formally a hunting reserve for the royal families,
boasts of one of the richest areas in wildlife and
tall grassland habitat. Walking at dawn, make
an early morning stroll into the jungle. Later,
Canoe ride down the Rapti River to enjoy the
species of birds and you can also see the
crocodiles on the riverbank. Continue Elephant
?Back riding! These well-trained elephants will
take you into the deeper parts of the jungle
where grazing one-horned rhinos and summer
deer abound. If luck is on your side, you may
catch a glimpse of the sloth bear, gaur and even
the endangered Bengali tigers!
Day 12 Chitwan National Park- Kathmandu
Drive to Kathmandu. Upon arrival visit the
largest stupa in Nepal, the Boudhnath Stupa,
the famous durbar Square of Kathmandu
dominated by Shiva Temple where the ?Living
Virgin Goddess?-Kumari Lived.
Day 13 Kathmandu
Free Day: Optional tour upon request to
Bhaktapur, Mountain Flight or Hot air Balloon.
Or you explore the exotic city of Kathmandu on
your own.
Day 14
Departure - Kathmandu
After breakfast, you will be transferred to airport
for your flight to further destination.
