Day 01
Arrival Kathmandu
Arrival Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel.
Start off the tour by visiting the 2000-year-old
Swayambunath temple (Monkey temple). These
temple charms with its great dazzling stupa while
at the same time offers a marvelous view of
Kathmandu city next destination is Patan, the
oldest and second largest of the three cities in
Kathmandu valley.
Day 02
Kathmandu
Visit Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal?s holiest
Hindu Shrine and thereafter visit the largest
stupa in Nepal, the Boudhnath Temple, the
famous durbar Square of Kathmandu
dominated by Shiva Temple where the 'Living
Virgin Goddess'-Kumari Lived.
Day 03
Kathmandu to Lhasa
Transfer to airport for flight to Lhasa. During
the flight you will be able to see the fantastic
view of Mount Everest. Upon arrival transfer to
the hotel to acclimatize and have the rest of the
day free.
Day 04
Drepung - Jokhang
Monastery - Bakhor
In the morning, full day tour of Drepung, this
monastery was founded in 1416 by a disciple
of Tsong Khapa. Thereafter, proceed to Jokhang
Monastery in central Lhasa-the most sacred
temple in Tibet established by King Songsten
Gampo in the 7th century and outside the
monastery, Barkhor market, a sacred pilgrimage
path as well as busy market that attracts all kinds
of trade strollers and religious devotees.
Day 05
Potala Palace - Sera
monastery - Norbulinka
Potala Palace-Winter palace of the Dalai lama
rises more than 300m above the valley,
dominating the city of Lhasa and hearts of the
hearts of the Tibetian people. Proceed to the
Sera Monastery (5km north of Lhasa) which
suffered far worse damage at the hands of the
red Guards and the ruins of outlying residential
building, which can still be seen.
Norbulinka (the Jewel Park) was first chosen as
a site for summer palace by the 7th Dalai Lama
contains a bizarre mix of precious religious
object and modern items imported from the
west, including art nouveau armchairs and old
Philips console with 78rpm records.
Day 06
Lhasa - Kathmandu
Morning transfer to Gonggar airport for your
flight to Kathmandu. Transfer to the hotel.
Day 07
Kathmandu
Free Day: Optional tour upon request to
Bhaktapur, Mountain Flight or Hot air Balloon.
Or you explore the exotic city of Kathmandu on
your own.
Day 08
Departure Kathmandu
After breakfast, you will be transferred to airport
for your flight to further destination
